B. A simple taxation system based upon the classification of residency (defined as living in Cyprus for more than 183 days per year in aggregate)

• If classified as residents they are subject to a top income tax rate of 30% on total emoluments. Emoluments from abroad for services that exceed 90 days in aggregate are exempt from tax.
• If classified as non-residents they are subject to income tax only on emoluments for duties in Cyprus.
